Job summary

Lifepoint Health invites experienced registered nurses to join the Wilson Medical Center ICU on a PRN, in-person basis. You will provide compassionate critical care, monitor patients on complex therapies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an active state RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Prior ICU or Med/Surg experience is preferred to support this demanding unit.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 1–2 years of Med/Surg or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions promptly.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on patient condition.
• Document medical necessity and care in the medical record.
• Contribute to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Complete and revise QI assessments as needed.
