Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing nursing processes.
• Direct patient care and guidance of patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient clinical condition to the physician.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
