Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in the CICU. You will collaborate with the health care team to deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients and families.

Requirements include an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), current SC RN licensure or compact state, and BLS; ACLS is required. This is a full-time position with a $30,000 sign-on bonus for qualified hires.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital unit and collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, effective nursing care and collaborate with the health care team.
• Interact with families to support patient care and planning.
