Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our ICU on day shifts, providing high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill patients. In this full-time role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, manage ventilators and complex IV therapies, administer medications, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.

You’ll collaborate closely with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and uphold strict safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Experience in high-acuity, critical care is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond rapidly to patient changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of ICU patients.
• Manage ventilators and complex IV therapies.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed.
