Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Registered Nurse ICU to provide high-acuity care for critically ill adults in a modern ICU setting. You will monitor patients, adjust ventilators and drips, and administer medications while documenting care in the EMR.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, educate families, and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICU care and critical care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill adults in an ICU setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Manage ventilators, drips, and other critical interventions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, interpret labs and diagnostics, and administer medications.
• Document accurately in the EMR and educate patients and families about care plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and support a collaborative, patient-centered culture.
• Engage in precepting and continuing education to maintain clinical excellence.
