Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Two years Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License.
• BLS and ACLS required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition on an ongoing basis.
• Develop, communicate and document a plan of care involving patient and healthcare team.
• Coordinate and implement the plan of care with the team.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care and readiness for discharge; revise as needed.
