Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital's ICU team is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to perform initial assessments, titrate vasoactive drugs, and manage patients on mechanical ventilation in a fast-paced, patient-centered unit.

The ideal candidate holds a California RN license, BLS and ACLS, NIHSS within 3 months of hire, and ICU experience. BSN preferred. TVH offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA).
• NIHSS required within 3 months of hire.
• CCRN encouraged.
• One year ICU experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The ICU RN performs initial assessment and documents appropriately for the level of care.
• Initiates discharge planning for each patient on admission as appropriate.
• Calculates and titrates vasoactive drugs as condition changes.
• Care for patients on mechanical ventilation and interpret cardiac arrhythmias.
