Job summary

Health Here in Sullivan, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an ICU role in a 6-bed unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. This full-time position focuses on delivering direct patient care and coordinating with the healthcare team.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, educate families on illness management and post-treatment care, and participate in safety and quality initiatives. Onsite supervision is provided, including night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Less than 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessment, planning and evaluation per nursing standards.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications.
• Participate in safety, quality and regulatory activities; collaborate with the care team.
• Develop and document individualized care plans; ensure clear communication across care continuum.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients.
• Maintain a safety-sensitive role with alertness and safe work practices.
