Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care by integrating theory with clinical practice. You will independently assess, plan, and evaluate patient and family needs using the Nursing Process, aligned with ANA standards and hospital policies.

You will collaborate across disciplines, document patient responses, and participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives. A NY RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Other certifications as required in specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Performs thorough patient assessments addressing pathophysiologic and psychosocial needs.
• Identifies nursing diagnoses from assessment data.
• Establishes and documents a data-driven plan of care with discharge planning.
• Implements and coordinates plan-of-care, collaborating with other disciplines.
