• Plans, provides, and documents professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Documents patient care in the electronic health record.
• Provides safe, compassionate nursing care to ICU patients.
• Mentors unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering care.
• Assesses physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients.
• Performs interventions per plan of care and infection control policies.
• Collects blood specimens for lab analysis.
• Operates department-specific equipment.
