Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for a Neuro Trauma ICU in Salem, VA. The role focuses on complex, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced tertiary setting for patients with neurological injuries and multi-system trauma.

You will perform neuro checks, manage vasoactive and sedation drips, provide ventilator support, and coordinate with physicians and teams while educating patients and families and supporting transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in neuro ICU or trauma critical care preferred.
• Strong assessment and care coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous patient assessment, including frequent neuro checks
