Job summary

AdventHealth in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications, educate patients and families, collaborate with the care team, and document care activities in the medical record.

You will ensure infection control, provide emotional support, supervise care, participate in performance improvement, and respond to code situations.

Qualifications

• RN license and Basic Life Support certification required.
• Associates degree in nursing required with Bachelor’s preferred.
• Proven ability to coordinate care and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions according to orders.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes and document care in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed and respond to code situations.
