Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse II with strong ICU/PACU experience to join the Jacobs Medical Center team. This per diem role supports postoperative care, with potential to float to PreOp/PACU across campuses, and requires flexibility across hours and locations.

Ideal candidates hold CA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and PALS, with 2+ years in acute care ICU/PICU/NICU, and demonstrate excellent communication in a fast-paced, Magnet-designated environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN license issued by the State of California is required.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS at time of hire; ART within six months.
• Current PALS, or obtained during 1st year of employment.
• At least two years of acute care ICU, PICU, or NICU experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
