CommonSpirit Health's Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a Nocturnist ICU PA to lead overnight critical care. The role provides high autonomy, collaboration with on-call intensivists, ED, and nurses to manage complex patients across 12-hour shifts.

Base salary ranges $200,000–$210,000 annually (167 12-hour shifts/year) with a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and comprehensive benefits. PSLF eligible; strong retirement plan and paid time away.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Minimum of 3 years of advanced practice experience in ICU/ED or inpatient pulmonary.
• Active California PA license or eligibility; NB Certification (PA-C).
• Proven proficiency in critical care procedures and ACLS/LLLS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, especially overnight.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican is seeking a motivated Nocturnist ICU PA (APP) to join our patient-centered organization in Santa Cruz, CA!

As our Nocturnist ICU PA, you will join Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican, a physician-led, patient-centered organization in Santa Cruz, CA. This is a unique opportunity for a driven advanced practice provider to deliver high-quality, overnight critical care within our modern intensive care facilities at Dominican Hospital. You will provide expert overnight critical care with significant autonomy, collaboration, and flexibility. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex, high-acuity patients, perform essential ICU procedures, and stabilize admissions throughout the night. You will collaborate closely with on-call intensivists, ED providers, and the multidisciplinary overnight care team to ensure seamless patient care. Resources like skilled critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, and comprehensive diagnostic imaging ensure a highly supportive and integrated overnight team environment.

We are offering a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $200,000 to $210,000 annually. This competitive rate is inclusive of 167 12-hour shifts per year, with excellent opportunities for additional shift coverage compensation. You will also receive a generous Sign-On Bonus, Relocation Assistance, and a CME Allowance. Job Requirements

• ? Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• ? Minimum of 3 years of advanced practice experience in the ICU, Emergency Department, or Inpatient Pulmonary
• ? Active or eligible PA license in the state of California
• ? National Board Certification (e.g., PA-C)
• ? Proven proficiency in critical care procedures and advanced life support
• ? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• ? Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented overnight environment
