Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) in Johnson City, NY is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Wilson ICU night shift. You will work alongside Registered Nurses to provide compassionate, hands-on care, monitor vital signs, and document intake/output with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, and ensuring a supportive environment. BLS required within 90 days; CNA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• Nurse Aide certificate or diploma preferred.
• New York State CNA credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Assist with nutrition and hydration needs as directed by the RN.
• Record vital signs and intake/output in the EHR and communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Maintain clean, safe patient environment and respond to call lights.
• Perform Unit Secretary and clerical duties as assigned.
• Support unit workflow and patient flow with team.
