Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking an ICU Nurse to join our healthcare family. The Registered nurse will coordinate and provide care for patients in the ICU, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support physical and psychological needs.

Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, ventilator management, and discharge planning. Kentucky RN licensure and BLS are required, ACLS within 6 months, with 1+ year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a compact-state board.
• Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or ICU transfer.
• At least one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory support, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized systems.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
