Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Critical Care service in Boise, Idaho. The AP role entails independent high-level care for critically ill patients, ICU admissions/discharges, and procedures under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include triage, H&Ps, and coordination with ICU staff, with 12-hour rotating shifts. Idaho license and DEA/CS registration are required.

Formación

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho.
• Active Idaho controlled substances registration and DEA license.
• Strong medical background with acute/critical care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and manage critically ill patients in the ICU in collaboration with critical care physicians.
• ICU admissions and discharges, including complex procedures.
• Procedures such as intubation, arterial/central line placements, chest tube insertions.
• Oversee patient care within scope of practice and coordinate with ICU team.
• Document care, assist with transfers, and support billing and coding as needed.
