Job summary

Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN to join the 20-bed Intermediate/Intensive Care Unit. You will provide high-acuity, patient-centered care to critically ill patients, perform comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The role requires a Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of acute nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill and medically complex patients.
• Perform comprehensive and continuous patient assessments.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Manage advanced monitoring and life-support equipment.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and effectively.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout treatment and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
