Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows strict infection prevention precautions.
• Adheres to medication safety policies and procedures.
• Sets measurable short- and long-range patient care goals and implements plans of care.
• Performs follow-up assessments and adjusts plans as needed.
• Applies knowledge of diagnoses, procedures, medications, and equipment for unit patient population.
• Maintains medication safety and regulatory compliance.
• Enhances patient experience through effective communication with patients and families.
• Communicates with the interdisciplinary team and provides thorough hand-offs.
• Adheres to ANA Scope, Standards, and Code of Ethics; participates in practice changes and education.
• Manages staff accountability and regulatory adherence.
• Facilitates team dynamics in patient care and flow, including staff assignments.
• Fulfills management duties including conflict resolution and audits.
• Assesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
