Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor (RNS) for the ICU to lead clinical and operational work during Night Shift. You will coordinate patient care, oversee staff, ensure safety and high-quality critical care, and partner with the Department Director to support Trinity Health's mission.

The role requires a Maryland RN license (or compact state eligibility), a BSN, and 5+ years of ICU RN experience with prior Charge Nurse

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Maryland or compact state eligibility.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Minimum five (5) years of recent Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse experience.
• Previous Charge Nurse experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and patient flow.
• Provide direct supervision and support to professional and non-professional staff.
• Assign and coordinate staff based on patient acuity and unit needs.
• Promote compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and service excellence initiatives.
• Participate in staff orientation, education, coaching, and performance management.
• Act as a clinical role model, mentor, and resource for ICU staff.
