Job summary

Pratt Regional Medical Center in Pratt, KS seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a blended ICU/Medical-Surgical unit role. The ICU-designated beds are located within the Medical-Surgical unit, and the RN will care for critically ill patients with continuous monitoring and transition to medical-surgical care when needed.

Required: Kansas RN license, 1 year ICU/PCU experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; CPSI experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN license or eligibility to obtain Kansas licensure.
• Minimum of one year of ICU or PCU experience.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Determine nursing needs and devise a plan of care for each patient.
• Coordinate tests and diagnostic procedures as indicated.
• Monitor patients and provide immediate treatment as needed.
• Operate and monitor life-support equipment and systems.
• Document care and communicate with families and care team.
