Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a part-time Night Shift RN to support the Regional Float Pool ICU at St. Elizabeth and Mercy Hospitals in Appleton and Oshkosh, WI. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care across units, with two 12-hour night shifts per week and weekend/holiday rotation.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, follow orders, document the care journey meticulously, and assist with discharge planning to ensure safe transitions for patients.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credential from Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/Red Cross accepted).
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and monitoring of individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient care journey with meticulous detail and communicate updates to the team.
• Coordinate clinical disciplines for a seamless, patient-centered experience from admission to discharge.
• Execute physician and nursing orders promptly to maintain patient safety and adherence.
• Assess discharge needs early and collaborate on comprehensive transition plans.
