Job summary

Harborview Medical Center's Pharmacy Department invites applications for a Clinical Staff Pharmacist – ICU/ED. This part-time role (35 hours/week) features an evening shift and a focus on hospital-based pharmaceutical care in critical settings.

The HARBORVIEW PHARMACY DEPARTMENT has an outstanding opportunity for a CLINICAL STAFF PHARMACIST - ICU/EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Part-Time / 35 hours per week
  • Evening Shift

Strong candidates will have an advanced degree or residency, or 2 years of experience in clinically-oriented hospital pharmacy practice.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate drug therapy and nutrition, including indication, dose, drug interactions and drug allergies
  • Evaluate pharmacotherapeutic regimens for effectiveness and adverse drug events, and intervene as needed

Required Position Qualifications

State of Washington Pharmacist License and one year of experience in hospital pharmacy practice. Months spent in the completion of an American Society of Health System Pharmacists accredited residency training program may substitute month-for-month for the required experience.

LEGAL REQUIREMENT

State of Washington Pharmacist license.
