Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions is recruiting Critical Care Registered Nurses to support the Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, OH. ICU patients require vigilant critical care, with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and timely documentation of orders and care plans.

Nurses will utilize defibrillators, ECG monitors, and cardiac monitoring equipment to manage acute conditions. Applicants must have an accredited RN program (BSN/ADN), active RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of CCU

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program (BSN or ADN).
• Current RN licensure in at least one US state or DC.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• One year of recent Critical Care RN experience required.
• No sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients.
• Obtain patient history and family history; assess care needs.
• Document plan of care and care provided in medical records.
• Administer medications and IV therapies; monitor responses.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies.
• Discharge planning and patient/family education.
