Job summary

BJC HealthCare's Memorial Shiloh ICU is recruiting a Registered Nurse to join the Memorial Hospital Belleville/Shiloh team. This PRN role works in Memorial Shiloh ICU providing direct patient care in a high-acuity environment, with emphasis on safety, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and coordination of care with the interprofessional team; education for patients and families; and documentation of care plans.

Qualifications

• RN license (licensure)
• 2 years ICU experience preferred
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on post-treatment home care and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Proactively communicates the plan of care across the continuum of care.
