RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) for a Full Time Night shift in the Critical Care unit. The APN collaborates with physicians to coordinate inpatient care for ICU patients, performing admissions, rounds, and bedside procedures as needed.

Licensure and certifications must be current and valid in New Jersey. The role offers a salary range of $120,000 to $170,000 per year, with a robust benefits package under RWJBarnabas Health’s Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• APN or PA license and NP certification required or preferred.
• NJ state license, CDS and DEA credentials.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• 1–2 years acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inpatient care in an ICU setting with the attending physician.
• Perform admission assessments and initiate appropriate treatment.
• Round daily with the attending physician on the unit.
• Interpret laboratory/diagnostic tests and perform bedside procedures as indicated.
