Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking an MD for an inpatient critical care locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts. The successful clinician will cover 24-hour shifts with day coverage 7am-7pm and on-call 7pm-7am, supporting ICU-level management for adult patients.

Board-certified physicians with strong critical care skills are preferred. The assignment runs January 4, 2027 through September 30, 2027, with on-site requirements and collaborative relations with ED and Anesthesia to facilitate intubations

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician; MD degree and license required.
• Experience in inpatient ICU care with critical care procedures preferred.
• Strong ability to work in high-acuity environments and collaborate with ED/Anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site inpatient critical care coverage on a 24-hour shift structure.
• Perform procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and paracentesis; coordinate with ED/Anesthesia.
