San Luis Valley Health is seeking an ICU/CCU RN to provide comprehensive nursing care, triage patient needs, and support physicians with treatments and documentation. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and coordination with the care team.

The position requires an active Colorado RN license and an associate degree in nursing; BSN is preferred. ACLS/PALS and BLS are expected on hire, with ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Colorado RN license.
• ACLS/PALS and BLS/AHA certification required on hire.
• ICU/CCU experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per accepted hospital standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess comfort and safety needs of patients.
• Record vital signs and report changes to physicians.
• Document nursing history and assessments for assigned patients.
