Job summary

New England Baptist Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks an ICU Patient Care Associate for a 36-hour full-time day shift. Under RN supervision, you’ll provide direct patient care and help ensure safety and efficient, patient-centered care.

Requirements include a HS diploma, Heartsaver, and 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience; hospital experience preferred. Sign-on bonus available for eligible new grads/febs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Heartsaver certification required.
• 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience required; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in a functional care of patients under supervision.
• Collect, record, or communicate pertinent clinical data to the supervising nurse.
• Transport patients and accompany them as needed.
• Assist in patient teaching and discharge tasks.
• Maintain patient records from admission to discharge and coordinate unit activities.
