Job summary

Salary Range: $30/HR - $37/HRLY

As an ICT Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting complex printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure products meet quality and performance requirements. You will use your technical expertise in analog and digital electronics to diagnose test failures, identify root causes, and support the efficient flow of production.

In this hands‑on role, you will work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and other cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues and minimize production disruptions. Your ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation, use electronic test equipment, and apply strong troubleshooting skills will directly contribute to product quality, reliability, and on‑time delivery.

How Will You Make an Impact?
  • Perform In‑Circuit Test (ICT) testing and troubleshooting of complex printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot ICT test failures at the component and circuit level.
  • Apply knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Use electronic laboratory test equipment and instrumentation, including oscilloscopes and digital multimeters (DMMs), to perform testing and troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret engineering instructions, electrical schematics, technical procedures, and various reports.
  • Follow established test procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze test results and identify potential causes of failures or abnormalities.
  • Identify root causes of test failures and support effective corrective actions.
  • Communicate technical findings and troubleshooting results effectively to Manufacturing, Engineering, and other cross‑functional teams.
  • Support production by troubleshooting test failures and helping minimize manufacturing downtime.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to testing, troubleshooting, and identified issues.
  • Follow all applicable quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business and operational needs.

Your Background
  • 5+ years of experience working in a contract manufacturing or electronics manufacturing environment, specializing in PCBA.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ICT Test Technician.
  • Associate's degree (AS) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Strong experience testing and troubleshooting complex printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
  • Hands‑on experience using electronic laboratory test equipment and instrumentation, including oscilloscopes and digital multimeters (DMMs).
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering instructions, electrical schematics, technical procedures, and reports.
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions provided in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information and respond to questions from managers, supervisors, engineers, and employees.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross‑functional manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits and identify the root cause of ICT test failures.

Salary range: $30/HRLY– $37/HRLY
