Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Los Angeles is offering an ICT Summer Intern position within our engineering teams. You will assist with electrical system drawings, calculations, and site visits, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The role suits students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, ideally having completed at least the second year and possibly previous internship experience. EDT program participation supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in Electrical engineering
• Must be at a minimum completed your second year
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
