Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an ICT Designer to perform essential technical duties under supervision. You will design ICT systems, participate in site surveys, and prepare deliverables within the project scope.

The role emphasizes knowledge of TIA/BICSI standards, data center familiarity, and proficient use of CAD, Bluebeam, and Revit. You will collaborate across disciplines, manage priorities, and contribute to project budgets while advancing your professional growth within a global

Qualifications

• Experience with ICT design principles for backbone and horizontal cabling.
• 1
• Understands outside plant pathway design.
• Knowledge of TIA standards and BICSI best practices.
• Background in Data Center Facilities.
• Knowledge of nomenclature, design techniques, materials and building codes.
• Able to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
• Proficient in CAD, Bluebeam and Revit.
• Strong communication of scope to clients and team.
• Organized with strong time management and budget awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and punch lists.
• Prepares project deliverables per client scope.
• Follows QA/QC procedures and reviews deliverables.
• Engages in professional development through meetings, seminars, or articles.
• Meets utilization goals and adheres to project budgets.
• Supports project management with planning within timelines and budgets.
• Creates detailed instructions and delegates tasks for timely execution.
• Identifies roadblocks impacting scope, schedule, or budget.
• Gains understanding of Stantec’s accounting and project management systems.
