Job summary

PrideGlobal is recruiting an ICT Design Engineer in Seattle, WA for a Fortune Tech Company. You will develop scalable inside- and outside-plant designs, coordinate building activities, review submittals, and conduct field surveys to support mission-critical facilities.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in ICT design for critical environments, fiber optics experience, MS Office proficiency, and a BICSI RCDD or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 5+ years ICT design experience in mission critical environments.
• 5+ years designing documentation (plans, specs) for construction/permitting.
• 5+ years with fiber optic components, cabling and interconnects.
• Experience in data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.
• Experience researching new designs and construction methods.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• BICSI RCDD Certification or internationally recognized equivalent.

Job description

Our client, a Top Fortune Tech Company , is looking to hire an ICT Design Engineerin Seattle, WA.

Pay Rate Range

$70-$75/hr , depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable inside- and outside-plant designs, including drawings and specifications, for assigned projects.
• Coordinate building designs with teams.
• Review and approve ICT space, pathway, cabling, and equipment submittals.
• Identify and respond to risks and high-priority issues rapidly and effectively, escalatingas appropriate.
• Perform construction administration — review and respond to RFIs, review and approve submittals, and conduct field surveys.
• Generate site reports based on field conditions.
• Work and coordinate with construction teams to arrive at expedited solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) design experience in mission critical environments.
• 5+ years of experience developing design documentation (plans, specifications, etc.) for construction and/or permitting.
• 5+ years of working experience with fiber optic components, cabling, and interconnect products, technologies, and standards.
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities, including but not limited to data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• BICSI RCDD Certification or internationally recognized equivalent (e.g., CDCDP, DCDC).
