Job summary

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to design site layouts, manage stormwater, and handle permitting for residential or commercial projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
- Minimum 3 years in civil/site development, stormwater, and permitting.
- PE licensure or EIT desired.
- Ability to develop and oversee drawings for civil plans from sketches.
- Experience with planning and design of layout and site design projects.
- Experience with site development requirements and permitting; environmental resource permits.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D and ICPR.
Responsibilities
- Performs and oversees civil engineering work, focusing on site design components including layout, piping, paving, grading, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Performs conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and reports.
- Completes detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for site civil aspects of residential or commercial sites.
- Conducts stormwater hydraulic calculations and modeling and incorporates into site civil design.
- Prepares and reviews technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
- Reviews contractor submittals for conformance with contract drawings and specifications.
- Provides, and coordinates engineering services during construction.
- Serves as civil engineer for large multi-discipline projects.

- Registration as a Professional Engineer or EIT Desired
- Ability to develop and oversee drawings for civil plans (site layout, piping, grading, drainage, and paving) from sketches
- Experience with the planning and design of layout and site design projects
- Experience with site development requirements and permitting; experience with environmental resource permits
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D and at least 2 years' experience with ICPR

Pay Range : $85,000 USD - $110,000 USD
