Job summary

Balazs NanoAnalysis, a contract analytical laboratory, seeks a Scientist II to join the Surfaces and Materials Analysis Lab. You will specialize in trace and ultra-trace metal analysis using ICP-MS and HR-ICP-MS, handling acids and complex matrices, and developing robust analytical methods for semiconductor-related materials.

Qualifications

Experience with metal analysis, acid handling, and sample prep for complex matrices.
Experience with ICP-MS method development and validation.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Manage large projects.
Provide technical support to chemists and non-managerial direction.
Perform analysis and research with minimal supervision.
Develop new lab methods and capabilities.
Prepare reports and communicate results to customers.
Train lab staff on new methods.
