Job summary

New Horizons Behavioral Health in Georgia seeks a licensed mental health professional to lead Intensive Case Management. A master’s degree in social work or counseling and active GA licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) are required.

You will oversee daily operations, conduct weekly team meetings and supervision, and prepare reports for agency and state bodies. Experience in case management, supervising staff, and behavioral health is essential. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring, transition and discharge.
• Provide counseling therapy to clients requiring complex intervention.
• Perform commitment determination and/or execute orders of involuntary commitments.

Population

Individuals with a mental health diagnosis, developmental disabilities, and/or addictive diseases.

Hours & Schedule

This position will work 40 hours a week. Most programs work Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 1-hour break.

Pay

$65,000 per year.

The candidate MUST have a master's degree in social work or counseling, and MUST be fully licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Georgia. The candidate MUST have experience with case management services, experience managing programs and supervising staff, and experience in behavioral health. The candidate MUST have a valid driver's license, as this position may require transporting of individuals.
