Danville Pittsylvania Community Services seeks a dedicated professional to ensure ICF/IID facilities meet all regulatory standards and agency policies. You will help budget, coordinate cost settlements, and manage admissions, discharges, and evaluations for individuals served.
You will collaborate with physicians, monitor medications administration, and support staff recruitment and training to maintain compliant and compassionate care.
Responsible for ensuring that Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) are in compliance with all federal, state, local and Agency regulations, policies, and procedures assists in all aspects of facility operations; assists with budget development and coordination of the cost settlement process; gathers baseline data and coordinates screening, admission, and discharge of individuals; establishes teamwork with contract professionals including physicians and other medical professionals; coordinates development and implementation of individualized programs; ensures proper administration of medication by staff; participates in staff recruitment, training and supervision, and monitoring of work schedules to ensure appropriate coverage at all times. Plans own work with supervisory consultation and considerable latitude for decision making. Functions without direct oversight in accordance with standard operating procedures.
M1: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least 15 credit hours of coursework in Human Services
OR
Registered Nurse with a valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Virginia
M2: One year of documented experience working with individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities
M3: Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
