Job summary

Emerson’s St. Louis, MO location is seeking an iCenter Co-Op (Jan–Aug) for a full-time 40-hour per week rotation. You will support project analysis, BOM development, and cross-functional teams while gaining real-world manufacturing experience in automation software for process industries.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in BS/MS programs in engineering or related fields and can commit to a January 2027-August 2027 co-op. Sponsorship is not provided and eligibility requires US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited college/university pursuing BS or MS in engineering/technical/business.
• Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Summer/Fall Co-op Jan 2027-Aug 2027 in St. Louis, MO.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Support project technical analysis and manufacturing activities for efficient execution.
• Collaborate with engineering/design teams on constructability and assembly questions.
• Assist with project execution, technical submittals, and customer inquiries.
• Develop BOMs in the MRP system from drawings and docs.
• Support creation/maintenance of kits and subassemblies for standard product lines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency and quality.
• Assist project managers and production managers in manufacturing and project tasks.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and cross-functional communication.
• Participate in cross-functional problem solving across the project lifecycle.
