Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating a Zamboni or similar machinery is required; ongoing training and development opportunities will be provided throughout the season.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment.
• Great time management and communication skills.
• Reliable, positive, and ready to contribute to an excellent guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Zamboni to resurface and maintain the rink between events.
• Ensure the ice is clean, smooth, and hazard-free.
• Follow all safety guidelines and keep skaters and staff safe throughout operations.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the Zamboni.
• Stay on schedule so events run smoothly and the ice is ready when needed.
• Communicate with rink management and event teams to coordinate resurfacing times.
• Keep the Zamboni and surrounding work areas clean and well-maintained.
• Maintain accurate records of resurfacing, fuel use, and maintenance.
• Support other rink operations including facility upkeep, equipment setup, and general maintenance tasks.
• This position will operate the Zamboni on both the indoor and outdoor rink as needed.
