Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. in Virginia is seeking a helper to support the delivery team with loading and unloading ice, riding with the driver to customer locations, and assisting at delivery stops. The role also requires keeping the truck clean and assisting with backing up at ice merchandisers.

The candidate must lift 16 lb bags repeatedly and carry up to 50 lbs for up to 12 hours daily, be punctual, and provide excellent customer service on the route.

Qualifications

• Must have physical stamina to repeatedly lift 16 lb. bags of ice while bending for up to 12 hours daily.
• Must have physical stamina to lift and carry 50 lbs. up to 12 hours daily.
• Excellent customer service skills for interactions on the delivery route.
• Must be punctual with a strong attendance record.
• Assist with loading/unloading using pallet jack.
• Comfortable riding in the Route Truck with the driver to customer locations to deliver bags of ice.
• Assist the driver at delivery stops by tossing ice from the back of an ice truck to the driver.
• Keep the trash and inside of the truck clean in between stops.
• Assist the driver in backing up at ice merchandisers

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Loading and Unloading the Truck using Pallet Jack
• Comfortable riding in the Route Truck with the driver to customer locations to deliver bags of ice
• Assisting the driver at delivery stops by tossing ice from the back of an ice truck to the driver.
