Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring part-time Scoopers for our NORA ice cream shop in West Palm Beach, FL. Scoopers are ambassadors, delivering high standards and hospitality in every guest interaction. We seek self-starters who thrive independently and in teams in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, with a genuine passion for ice cream.

Base pay is $14 per hour with an average $9 per hour in tips. Must be 18+, available for at least three shifts weekly, and able to work past 12 a.m.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Genuine passion for ice cream and desserts.
• Dexterity to scoop and serve all menu items per standards.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work 3 days per week, nights and weekends past midnight.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and hospitality.
• Scoop and serve all menu items while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Educate guests on flavors, ingredients and specials.
• Prepare fresh, house-made items daily.
• Operate Square POS for checkout.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete daily tasks including stocking, inventory and cleaning.
• Adhere to safety, grooming, and conduct standards.

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring part‑time Scoopers to join our NORA ice cream shop in West Palm Beach, FL. Our Scoopers are the ultimate Van Leeuwen ambassadors, bringing our high standards and hospitality to life in every guest interaction. We’re looking for self‑st starters who thrive independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment. The ideal candidate brings positive energy, strong people skills and a genuine passion for ice cream!

Part‑time Scoopers at Van Leeuwen’s scoop shops make $14 per hour plus an average of an additional $9 per hour in tips. Tips are based on averages and subject to seasonal fluctuation. Our team members must have availability to work at least three shifts per week and be available to work past 12 a.m.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly, with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality.
• Able to scoop and serve guests all menu items while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Serve as a Van Leeuwen Ambassador, educating guests on flavors, ingredients and special offerings.
• Prepare all fresh, house‑made menu items daily.
• Accurately operate our Square POS System for a seamless guest checkout process.
• Become familiar with all food safety procedures and follow them as required.
• Maintain store cleanliness, following proper sanitation guidelines.
• Complete daily tasks, including stocking, inventory and cleaning.
• Follow Van Leeuwen’s established safety, grooming, uniform and employee conduct standards.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Genuine passion for ice cream and desserts.
• Possess dexterity to prepare and serve guests all menu items in accordance with established service and build‑out standards.
• Able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs of weight regularly.
• Stand for extended periods of time regularly.
• Walk up and down stairs regularly.Stand, bend and reach for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Available to work 3 days per week (including nights and weekends past 12 a.m.).
• Reliable, on time and ready for every shift.
• Food handlers certificate required.
