Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, Utah seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Technical Services Engineer to support the Sentinel program and develop ILS reports, maintenance plans, and training requirements in a fast-paced defense environment.

The role requires US citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance, with a 9/80 schedule and strong collaboration across engineering, production, logistics, and contracting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5 years experience, 3 years with master's, or 0 years with PhD.
• US citizen with active DoD Secret clearance and a recent investigation date within 6 years.
• Ability to obtain Special Program access in a reasonable amount of time as determined by the business needs.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience defining, implementing, or managing product support processes on a complex system or program.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience supporting a system sustainment or development program in a logistics, engineering, program management, or product support role.

Responsibilities

• Produce ILS Technical Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Training Requirements Documents compliant with appropriate standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive sustainment strategies covering maintenance concepts, spare part provisioning, supply chain risk mitigation, and life cycle cost forecasting.
• Liaise with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams to align sustainment objectives and resolve issues promptly.
• This position may be filled at the Principal (level 3) or Sr. Principal (level 4) level.
