Job summary

Phase2 Technology is looking for an experienced IAM Engineer to support large-scale identity and access management projects for government clients. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in ICAM, directory services such as Active Directory, and cybersecurity administration, focusing on identity lifecycle management.

Responsibilities include analyzing identity requirements, designing IAM solutions, and managing user privileges to secure client assets. A Secret clearance is required for this role, and candidates will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model.

As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll play a critical role in the world of IAM and zero trust. In this role, you’ll support large‑scale IAM projects for our government clients. You’ll analyze the identity lifecycle, articulating access requirements, and defining enterprise identity records. You’ll expand your IAM experience to design, deploy, and support systems that verify appropriate user privileges and manage credentials for accessing our clients’ most valuable assets. From single sign‑on to privileged access systems, you’ll implement enterprise‑class solutions and help stop adversaries in their tracks.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience supporting ICAM, security operations, or identity governance programs
• 3+ years of experience with administration of directory services such as Active Directory or LDAP
• 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity administration, including identity lifecycle management
• Experience with MFA solutions, such as Okta, Duo, or AuthO and Privileged Access Management such as CyberArk or Delinea
• Experience supporting IAM solutions in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
• Knowledge of PKI and PIV standards and identity security best practices
• Knowledge of identity‑focused cybersecurity principles and controls
• Ability to analyze technical documentation and incorporate industry best practices and security findings
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with advisory project management in an IT environment
• Experience with COTS IAM tools, including Microsoft Identity Manager, SailPoint, Saviynt, or One Identity
• Experience with Splunk or ELK stack
• Experience supporting enterprise IAM solution delivery projects
• Experience with project management including schedules, complex problem resolution, or performance management
• Knowledge of troubleshooting processes and standards for IGA or PAM

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
