Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is seeking an Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical Engineer (ICAEE) to manage the Dedicated Controls Engineer program. The role supports gas and steam turbine controls and collaborates across engineering teams to ensure contract fulfillment.

Based primarily at customer sites, with some travel and field work. The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to supervise subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four‑year institution; 2+ years of relevant experience or 4+ years of related experience.
  • Strong understanding of contract requirements and ICAEE responsibilities.
  • Experience troubleshooting Mitsubishi Power control systems; Netmation and/or Ovation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide start‑up, commissioning, operational, and troubleshooting support for equipment failures; perform root cause analysis.
  • Prepare and submit accurate technical reports on equipment conditions and actions.
  • Travel to customer sites to plan outages and provide technical direction.
  • Support LTSA program execution with unit history and repair status data.
  • Serve as primary technical focal point for issue resolution and warranty management.
  • Provide project administration support, including documentation and reporting of warranty issues.
  • Calibrate field devices to support operations and commissioning.
