Job summary

A global IT consulting firm is seeking a Technology Lead with expertise in IBM WebSphere Portal. This role requires strong knowledge in Sitecore, Java, and experience with API integration. Candidates should have at least four years of IT experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. You will be responsible for designing and developing multi-lingual websites and ensuring all solutions meet business requirements. This position is based in Irwindale, CA.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Strong knowledge of WebSphere Portal Server and Sitecore.

Job Title: Technology Lead IBM Web sphere Portal

Location: Irwindale, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
• At least 4 years of experience or in-depth knowledge of WebSphere Portal Server:
• Must have in-depth knowledge of WebSphere Portal Server:
• Strong technical hands on knowledge of Sitecore including best practices and features.
• Good understanding of Web development, information architecture, CMS and integrated technologies
• Ability to map loosely defined business requirements to specific technical solutions
• Experience in design and development of multi lingual / multi country websites.
• Strong experience in high level and detailed solution design and build validation. Experience in content migration projects
• Strong Java experience and MVC framework
• Demonstrated experience in integration using APIs and web services
• Must have at least 4 years WPS project related experience
• Experience in version 8 is an advantage.
• Strong Analytical skills
• Conversant with release management
• Conversant with unit testing automation
