Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with IBM Sterling SI and BP development.

• Proficiency in prompt engineering for LLMs to speed up design, mapping, debugging, and testing.
• Experience with AI development platforms (GitLab SaaS AI, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.).

Job Description

LVT Labs is looking for an IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI) Developer to join our Banking & Payments Integration team.

We are looking for a highly skilled integration professional with deep expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Business Process (BP) development, IBM Sterling Maps (ITX), and modern AI-assisted software development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable leveraging AI agents, agentic workflows, and prompt engineering to accelerate development while maintaining enterprise-grade quality and reliability.

• Design, develop, and optimize IBM Sterling Business Processes (BPs).
  
• Develop, enhance, and maintain complex IBM Sterling Maps (IBM ITX / Sterling Map Editor).
  
• Design scalable, reusable enterprise integration solutions for Banking & Payments.
  
• Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, secure file transfer, messaging technologies, and enterprise middleware.
  
• Design reusable workflows, services, and integration components
  
• Integrate applications using REST/SOAP APIs, secure file transfer, and messaging technologies
  
• Leverage AI agents and agentic workflows to accelerate development, automate repetitive engineering tasks, improve documentation, generate mappings, assist with debugging, and increase overall developer productivity .

Requirements

• Strong experience with Jython scripting for Sterling SI customization and Business Process automation.
  
• Experience designing, building, or working with AI Agents and Agentic Workflows to accelerate enterprise software development.
  
• Hands-on experience creating Agentic Workflows using GitLab SaaS AI capabilities (Required).
  
• Strong proficiency in Prompt Engineering, with the ability to effectively interact with Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate solution design, Business Process development, IBM Sterling mapping, Jython scripting, debugging, documentation, test case generation, and implementation .
  
• Experience using enterprise AI development platforms such as GitLab Duo (SaaS), GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or equivalent AI-assisted development tools.
  
• Ability to critically evaluate, refine, validate, and productionize AI-generated outputs while adhering to enterprise development standards and best practices.
  
• IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG).
  
• IBM Control Center & IBM Secure Proxy.
  
• Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
