Job summary

A growing software development company is seeking an experienced IBM FileNet Test Engineer to join their team in Richmond, Virginia. This full-time and permanent position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in functional testing and IBM FileNet, along with a strong background in test automation. Responsibilities include requirement analysis, test strategy creation, and collaboration with project management. Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in IBM FileNet Testing and exposure to test automation.
• At least 4 years of experience in Functional Testing in IBM FileNet and Case Manager.
• At least 4 years of experience in test case creation and test execution.
• At least 2 years of combined experience in automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber, and UFT.
• Working experience with Health Insurance domain.
• Strong client interfacing and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Requirement analysis and interaction with Business Clients for clarifications.
• Creation of Test Strategy based on Requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and provide input into Project Planning activities for testing related tasks.
• Create and maintain deliverables and test plans for release.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and provide status to PMs/Scrum Master and management on testing.
• Coordinate with leads to prepare testing environments.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards and RTM.
• Run smoke tests after deployments and assist with defect resolution.
• Identify process improvements in testing activities.

IBM FileNet CaseMgr – Functional Testing

Qualification Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in IBM FileNet Testing and exposure to test automation.
• At least 4 years of experience in Functional Testing in IBM FileNet and Case Manager.
• At least 4 years of experience in test case creation and test execution.
• At least 2 years of combined experience in automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber, and UFT.
• Working experience with Health Insurance domain.
• Ability to work in a team environment and client interfacing skills.
• Experience in a global delivery environment.
• Excellent analytical and client interfacing skills.
• Lead experience in all phases of projects, building and mentoring teams.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or 3 years of progressive experience may be considered in lieu of each year of education).
• At least 4 years of experience within Information Technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement analysis and interaction with Business Clients for clarifications.
• Creation of Test Strategy based on Requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and provide input into Project Planning activities for testing related tasks.
• Create and maintain deliverables and test plans for release, review with all stakeholders and obtain necessary sign-offs.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and provide status to PMs/Scrum Master and management on testing.
• Collaborate with tech leads, release management to get environments ready for testing.
• Ensure testing standards are followed.
• Review and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Run smoke testing to ensure code deployment to testing environments.
• Participate in defect resolution including attending defect coordination meetings and assigning defects to team.
• Proactively analyze current processes and practices and suggest / drive improvements.
