Job summary

A growing IT systems integrator is seeking a System Engineer with strong experience in IBM Datapower. This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting SOA appliances as well as leading project technical aspects. The candidate should have a robust understanding of SSL, Linux, and integration solutions. Applicants must be US citizens or green card holders. The position is contract-based for 6 months with opportunities for extension.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related technical experience required.
• Consults on technology solutions with senior leadership.
• Leads technical aspects of projects and assigns resources.

Responsibilities

• Leads complex projects within functional and cross-functional areas.
• Ensures adherence to established technology standards.
• Responsible for supporting existing systems and delivering project outcomes.

Skills

Install, configure, support, and troubleshoot IBM Datapower SOA appliances

Strong understanding and experience in SSL/Mutual Auth certs

Developing integration solutions using SOA Technology

Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools experience

Strong knowledge of XML, UDDI, JMS, Web services

Strong Unix background including Linux, Solaris, AIX

Understanding of Firewalls

Ability to work with Project plans

Follow Standards and Guidelines

Education

MS/BS or equivalent work experience
