Responsibilities

• Manages development team to ensure they deliver to their commitments, and to the needs of the business.
• Partner with teams to understand business requirements.
• Responsible for creating documentation (e.g., technical specs, design documents, data flows, etc.) ensure what is built aligns to the requirements.
• Validating product to acceptance criteria.
• Responsible for inputs into the RAID log pertaining to development team; proactively identify issues and analyze options to resolve; work with the project management team.
• Responsible for estimating Cognos development work for enhancements and projects.
• Collaborates closely with partners across the organization including business architects, solution architects, and delivery managers.
• Investigate and resolve production related issues in a timely manner from enduser.
• Identify and mitigate risks to the service delivery and proactively address and resolve issues before they impact service levels.
• Develop and maintain application documentation to help ensure that support can be efficiently performed and the impact of future requests can be assessed.
• Monitor service performance and recommend areas of focus for continuous improvement initiatives, including application performance management.

Description

Seeking a Development Lead/Business Systems Analyst to lead development in an IBM Cognos implementation project

Responsibilities

• Manages development team to ensure they deliver to their commitments, and to the needs of the business.
• Partner with teams to understand business requirements
• Responsible for creating documentation (e.g., technical specs, design documents, data flows, etc.) ensure what is built aligns to the requirements

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $90.00/hr - USD $127.00/hr.
