Accenture Flex is seeking a Database Administrator in Pleasant Prairie, WI to design, implement, and maintain databases. You will install database management systems, develop maintenance procedures, and resolve issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining databases.

Your day to day activities will include installing database management systems developing procedures for routine maintenance and resolving database related issues.

You are expected to be a subject matter expert collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively take responsibility for team decisions engage with multiple teams contribute to key decisions and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.

Expert proficiency in IBM AS400 RPG III is required Advanced proficiency in Database Management Database Optimization Tuning Database Performance Management and Database Activity Monitoring is suggested Apply deep technical knowledge to optimize database structures and improve system efficiency Support colleagues by sharing expertise and assisting in complex problem solving scenarios Analyze database performance trends and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and speed Collaborate with cross functional teams to align database solutions with business objectives Contribute to the development and refinement of best practices for database administration and maintenance

Client requires onsite presence Monday through Friday in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience as DBA for IBM AS/400 RPG III HS Diploma / GED
